'Costal Campesino' bets on exporting 100% coffee produced by victims and ex-combatants

In Bogotá, victims of the conflict and former combatants launched their partnership with Café Costal Campesino, a brand with which they hope to export more than 100 tons of specialty coffee to Europe.

"The Cooperativa Multiactiva de los Comunes – COOMULNES, from Tuluá (Valle del Cauca), which brings together 39 ex-combatants (33 men and 9 women) and 31 campesinos from the community, most of them victims of conflict, launched this Thursday, May 18, in Bogotá, a commercial partnership with Café Costal Campesino with which they hope to export to Europe 18 tons of whole roasted coffee and 100 tons of green coffee per year".
